Zhang XinYi Selina (b.1996) is an interdisciplinary artist and architectural Designer working between London, Hong Kong, and China. Her practice spans drawings, paintings, ceramics, sculpture, and spatial installation, and is dedicated to building gentle, inhabitable inner worlds—giving emotional, imaginative, and spiritual experiences a physical presence in reality.

Born in Shenzhen and raised in Hong Kong, Selina graduated from the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London, where she received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Architecture. She previously worked at Mikou Design Studio in Paris and OMA in Hong Kong, contributing to projects in France and the Shenzhen K11 development. In 2018, she was awarded the MAD Architects Travel Fellowship, undertaking a solo journey across China and North Korea to research the future of Chinese architecture. In 2019, she lived on Koh Phangan, Thailand, where she studied and taught yoga and meditation, integrating bodily awareness and spiritual practice into her creative process. In 2020, she attended an artist residency in Dali, China, which marked the beginning of her artistic journey alongside architectural practice.

Her practice unfolds as a continuously growing process of world-building. Through recurring characters, beings, and spatial environments, she explores childlike inner life, spirit-like presences, and emotional states of softness, repair, and companionship. Her works invite viewers to slow down—encouraging touch, lingering, and quiet co-presence as a way to reconnect with their own inner landscapes. Central to her inquiry is how inner worlds can be held, cared for, and sustained within the physical realm.

Her work has been exhibited in London, Tokyo, and across China.

Selina continues to build bridges between art, design, and narrative, constructing a growing emotional ecosystem—a parallel world where the inner child can breathe, and imagination is given a place to rest.

张心怡（b.1996）是一位活跃于伦敦、香港与中国之间的跨学科艺术家与建筑师。她的实践横跨绘画、陶瓷、雕塑与空间装置，致力于构建温柔、可被进入的内在世界，为情绪、想象与精神经验寻找现实的身体。

她的创作是一种持续生长的世界建构。通过反复出现的角色、生物、与空间场景，她探索童真、精灵般的内在生命，以及柔软、修复与陪伴的情绪状态。她的作品邀请观者放慢脚步，在触摸、停留与共处中，重新与自身的内在空间建立联系。她关注如何让精神世界在现实中被承载、被照料，并得以长期安放。

她的作品曾于伦敦、东京及中国多地展出。
